The 8-week program begins Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and will conclude Tuesday, March 31. Each week, attendees will meet Tuesdays at 1:00 pm PT/4:00 pm ET for a 1-hour live webinar.
The Optometric Management Certification Course (OPTMC) is accredited by the Accreditation by the Higher Education Committee (AHEC). OPTMC is a unique 8-week program designed to provide ODs/MDs, opticians, optical staff and optical managers with the skills necessary to manage a successful and profitable optical. The program focuses on frame management, assortment management and building custom tools to take your optical to the next level.
Once registrants complete the program, a comprehensive exam must be passed to ensure the skills required to receive the designation of ‘Certified Optical Manager’ have been attained.
