Business Education Workshop

Join us on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 7:30am – 1:30pm in Lincoln, NE for a one-day free event that is open to both doctors and staff. This event is designed to give attendees a better understanding of how to manage their optical, grow their practice and increase profitability.

The workshop includes a complete day of learning and hands-on courses that are beneficial for doctors, optical buyers and practice administrators.

The Following Courses Will be Presented:

Optical Merchandising 101: The Seven Fundamentals of Great Merchandising (1 Hour ABO)

Course Description: Learn the seven techniques used to create effective retail merchandise displays and strong merchandising statements – because you only get one chance to make a great first impression. Merchandising 101 will teach you how to accomplish this and how to implement it in your practice.
Inventory Management & Negotiating Strategies (1 Hour ABO)

Course Description: This course gives doctors and opticians general and specific knowledge needed to better manage their optical. The optical is a practice’s #1 generator of revenue and expense. A doctor will invest between $40,000 and $80,000 in their frame inventories without having a system to manage and evaluate the productivity of their optical and the performance of their frame vendors. This course teaches attendees a five-step system to prepare, manage and evaluate the productivity of their optical, frame vendors and inventory investment. Once a system is in place and being used, I then teach attendees how to use their practice data to negotiate with their vendor partners for better costs.
Work Smarter, Not Harder: Let Your Reps Do Some of the Heavy Lifting (1 Hour ABO)
